Page Turner's Best Flips From 'Love It or List It'

On Love It or List It, co-host Page Turner helps frustrated homeowners decide if they're willing to reimagine their current dwellings or if they're ready to leave this address behind. But she doesn't make moving easy. Thanks to incorporating a bevy of solutions that refresh a space with stylish practicality, Page proves you don't need to leave the past behind in order to start anew. Here are some of her best flips from Love It or List It Seasons 18 and 19.

The kitchen in this Season 19 home could only be accessed through a converted garage. "This is really disservicing to this house," Page said. Besides dated countertops and flooring, the space's shape didn't provide much functionality.

Page knocked down two walls to give the kitchen an open-concept feeling on a budget. Then, she rounded out the reno with quartz countertops that fit snugly beneath the existing windows. The original dining room now provides a spot for the refrigerator and more storage, tucking appliances out of the way.

Page's co-host, David Visentin, called this foyer a "fun house" because of its various doors. The door at the top of the foyer led to the converted garage, which included a secondary living space. Page hoped to streamline the home, making it easier to navigate.

Page installed a new front door with side windows to make the foyer brighter and more welcoming. The hallway now includes closed storage for outerwear, plus a seat for comfort.

This area was originally an office, but Page thought it made more sense as a dining space.

A new banquette between the living area and kitchen has the best of both worlds: enough seating for the couple's loved ones and overhead storage that tucks odds and ends out of view. The leatherette finish is not only eye-catching; it's also easy to clean.

The existing living area lacked furniture to make it feel cozy. But Page saw the potential in this space, particularly in its front window. All she needed to do was create an anchor for the room in the form of a fireplace, then add furnishings to make it feel finished.

Page called the couple's new living room "elevated and elegant" given its neutral palette and cozy details. There was nothing particularly wrong with this living room — except for the fact that Page envisioned it as a bedroom. By making this space the new primary suite, Page planned to give the owners much-needed privacy.

This bathroom hadn't been updated in decades, and Page was ready to give it a makeover. She envisioned more color, which meant removing the old tiles for something new. She also planned to replace the single vanity with a double.

The new office for the owner was completed with a sliding door she can open to see the outdoors. Page made sure to include a closet, just in case the owners decided to shift it back into a bedroom one day.

This kitchen's proportions weren't conducive to food prep or entertaining. Page wanted to open up the room and give it an island to match its scale. She also hoped to provide comfortable seating.

Although this basement provided entertainment for the owners and their family, it was dark and lacked a proper layout. Page planned to brighten the space up and create a place to work.
