Jack McBrayer Hits the Strip Club on 'Zillow Gone Wild'
This Asheville rental, designed for bachelorette parties — complete with a stripper pole — fully commits to its theme.
This home tour made host Jack McBrayer blush like a bride. He's taking a "pole" — would you host your wedding party here?
When you think about raucous bachelorette parties, you might think Las Vegas or even Nashville, but this house in Asheville, North Carolina, has vowed to make you think again.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom, three-level home looks pretty indistinguishable from its neighbors, but as host Jack McBrayer well knows when it comes to this show, “If it looks normal on the outside, it’s probably crazy on the inside.”
This Asheville, North Carolina, home’s exterior might not initially entice you to swipe right, but wait until you see the inside.
When Jack steps through the front door, he is immediately transported to what one can only describe as a whole vibe. Every wall is covered in bright, playful murals and the energy of the space is electric. “This is what Asheville is all about … music, color, culture and art,” the home’s designer, Ishita Lalan, tells Jack. As a former Bollywood set designer with a background in architecture, Ishita designed the home with “a lot of inspiration” from her previous career.
The piano-key mural seen in the stairwell above continues throughout all three levels of the home.
As Asheville becomes known more and more as a destination wedding location, the owner of this house realized that there was a potentially untapped market to create a space that catered exclusively to this audience. “This house being like five minutes away from downtown, it was a no-brainer to design for bachelor/bachelorettes,” Ishita explains. Once this was decided, the owner gave Ishita free rein to “go bold,” and boy, did she ever.
The first thing Ishita did was to convert the garage into a "strip club." The space features cocktail tables, a custom DJ booth, a beer pong table, a photo backdrop wall and, obviously, a stripper pole, which naturally Jack takes for a literal spin.
The garage has been converted into an adults-only cocktail bar complete with a stripper pole.
If strip clubs aren’t your thing, rest assured that the rest of the house is a bit more PG and includes all of the details one could need for a perfect weekend away with friends. There’s Instagrammable wall art in every direction, a fully stocked kitchen and a rooftop deck with breathtaking views of beautiful Asheville.
Jack poses under one of the many social media-friendly wall murals seen throughout the house. This highlights Asheville's craft beer scene.
The house sleeps a total of 23 people across four bedrooms, so you can bring your entire entourage with you.
One of the bedrooms features a custom bunk bed made from real tree branches, while the others are decked out in neon signage, dark and moody color palettes and so much eye candy your corneas might need to go on a detox after spending the weekend here.
One of the four bedrooms has a pop-art-treehouse aesthetic that is a nod to Asheville’s artsy yet outdoorsy personality.
The top level of the home features the rooftop deck. “Oh, I like this very much,” Jack says as he takes in the views. From here, guests can soak in the hot tub — that had to be hoisted into place by crane — and enjoy the sound and scenery of the nearby French Broad River. This is the same river that flooded during Hurricane Helene in 2024. Luckily, the home was finished after the devastating storm and was, as Ishita said, a way of saying “we’re back.”
Scenic views of the Blue Ridge await.
The house is currently on the market for a cool $1,650,000 and, at the time of writing, has not yet found “the one.” In the meantime, gather your squad and book yourself a weekend at this truly wild house that is currently available for short-term rentals. Just remember, what happens in Asheville stays in Asheville … or something like that.
