The Emmy-nominated actor best known for his role on 'Modern Family' will be leading the "Move That Bus!" chant when 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' returns in 2020 with 10 new episodes on HGTV.

Earlier this year, it was announced that HGTV is bringing back one of the most iconic home renovation shows of all time: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Since the exciting news broke, people have been wondering who will be filling the role as host — and today, we’re finally able to share that news with you! Drumroll please…. The host of the new season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is the one and only Jesse Tyler Ferguson!!!
You know and love Jesse from his portrayal of Mitchell Pritchett on the Emmy-award winning sitcom, Modern Family. Not to mention, Jesse and his husband Justin Mikita recently made a cameo in Taylor Swift’s latest music video, “You Need to Calm Down” — which literally, yes, we need to calm down because how exciting is it that Jesse is hosting!!!
Jesse will bring his signature optimism, humor and energy to the ten new episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. We can’t wait to see him lead the ‘Move that bus!’ chant and surprise deserving families with life-changing renovations.
