The most important thing you can do to ease the burden of household chores is to delegate responsibility. If you have children, be creative and start them early! My family and I love playing board games together, so the idea of a fun and simple craft to encourage cleanliness and performance without nagging was chore dice. Everyone gets a chance to roll to determine their daily task and the element of chance makes it entertaining for all.

Materials

  • wooden blocks
  • acrylic paint
  • brushes
  • paint pen
  • tape

Use a paint pen to write names or initials on one block, and then write the chores on the second block. Once dry, start rolling!
