Apply Moisturizer, Foundation and Powder
Begin with a clean face and add moisturizer. Let it dry completely. This allows the makeup to blend evenly and stay fresh-looking longer. Next, use a makeup sponge to apply a foundation that's several shades lighter than your natural skin tone (Image 1). Apply all over the face and down the neck. Thoroughly blend the foundation for a pasty, gothic look. Set with loose translucent powder to keep foundation in place (Image 2). Dust off any excess powder.
Darken Eyes
Use a black eyeliner pencil to heavily outline both upper and lower lids, from corner to corner. Use a flat makeup brush to apply black eye shadow over the eyeliner. This will diffuse the eye line and blend it out to create a smoky, dark look (Image 1). Then, use a round eye shadow brush to apply gray shadow just above and below the black on the top and bottom lid. Use a dark blue eye shadow next, adding a little above the gray on top and just a small amount on the bottom (Image 2). To intensify the dark, masculine nature, use the rounded brush and a little gray eye shadow to shade the inside of your eyes up to your eyebrows (Image 3).
Intensify Eyes
Use black liquid eyeliner to draw random vertical tear lines from the bottom eye. Use a flat brush to blend while the liner is still wet (Image 1). Add a coat of black mascara to be sure the eyes are dark all the way around (Image 2). Add white eyeliner to the water line, which is the inside rim of the lower eyelid (Image 3).
Dramatize Nose
Apply gray eye shadow to each side of your nose all the way up to your eyebrow and about halfway down your nose (Image 1). This will make your nose appear thin and very dramatic.
Apply Lip Color
To give lips a dark look, use black eyeliner to line the perimeter of your lips (Image 1). Start on the outside of the lips and fill in about 2/3 of the way. Use a flat brush to blend the eyeliner (Image 2). Grab a dark red lipstick and apply to the middle of the lips where there’s no eyeliner. Use a brush to blend the red and black shades together (Image 3).
Complete the Look
Add some rocker accessories, including a wig (Image 1), dog collar or studded chocker necklace (Image 2), cross necklaces and a skull finger sleeve ring (Image 3).
