Mixed Media End Tables

Make mixed media end tables using a round birch wood slice and plant stands.

Materials and Tools:

round birch wood slice, from a local hobby store or garden center
round pre-made wooden tabletop, from a local hardware store
dark walnut stain
polyurethane
2 plant stands, from a local hardware store
drill with short screws
palm sander with 220-grit paper
wire clips and small screws

Instructions:

Sand the birch wood slice and wooden table top using 220-grit paper. Wipe away any dust, and apply dark walnut stain to just the pre-made tabletop. Wipe off excess stain, and allow time to dry. Apply polyurethane to both table tops.

Mixed Media End Tables

Make mixed media end tables using a round birch wood slice and plant stands.

Attach the plant stands to the bottom of the table tops using wire clips and short screws. Flip right-side up, and place next to your sofa or any nook in your home.
