Rumpl's Cozy Wool Blankets Look as Good as They Feel
Rumpl, the puffy blanket company, has a blanket made from super-soft, sustainable merino wool — and we're obsessed.

You may have seen Rumpl’s "technical" puffy blankets in the past. They’re known for down-filled blankets similar to sleeping bags — but much easier to cozy up with around a campfire — that are durable and packable for outdoor adventures. But they also have a wool blanket made for the inside of your home, with a trendy design that’s perfect for cabin getaways.
The Merino SoftWool Blanket is made from a super-soft blend of merino wool and organic cotton. I have a throw in the color Sage, which is white on one side and light green on the other. It's as soft as brand-new fleece, but unlike most other blankets you might pick up in the store, this one is made with 100 percent natural materials. If wool makes you think of scratchy sweaters and itchy blankets, think again. This wool is sustainably sourced from Australian merino sheep, which produce ultra-fine fibers that are soft against your skin. I've made every excuse to snuggle up under this blanket since I got it, and it's now a permanent fixture on my couch.

The Merino SoftWool Blanket is available in four colors and three sizes. The throw has a trendy design of thin, arched lines, and the Queen and King have a triangular line design. Each one is double-sided, with a bold color on one side and cream on the other, so they'll match almost anything. The throw would make a thoughtful gift for anyone celebrating moving into a new home, or a college student who wants to cozy up their dorm room and make it feel a bit homier.
The best way to keep the blanket looking fresh and new is to dry clean it whenever it needs to be refreshed — tossing it into your washing machine could damage it, as wool is sensitive to heat.
