What You'll Need:
- non-abrasive brush/sponge
- dish soap
- water
- baking soda
- clean dish towel
- white vinegar
Step 1: Clean Off the Counters
Begin by removing everything off of the counter. Take all appliances, crockery and keepsakes and move them to another surface. Once the counters are free of large items, use a dry sponge to brush away any crumbs and debris.

Step 2: Scrub
Cleaning laminate countertops is as simple as cleaning the dishes. Take a non-abrasive brush or sponge, and add warm water and a drop of dish soap. Scrub the countertops until the suds lift away the dirt and grime. Rinse your sponge with clean water, and wring out continually.

Step 3: Use Baking Soda if Needed
If you have a particularly difficult spot, sprinkle some baking soda onto the spot and use your sponge to scrub it away.

Step 4: Spray With Vinegar Solution
Using a clean cloth, wipe the remaining moisture from the countertops. To make the countertop shine, spray them with a vinegar solution. Mix 2 cups water with 1 tablespoon vinegar in a spray bottle (Image 1 below). Spray the countertop down, and allow the solution to sit for 2 minutes (Image 2 below). Finally, wipe the counter clean.
