Materials Needed

  • mesh-style locker or wicker baskets
  • hammer
  • nails
  • pencil
  • measuring tape
  • level
  • wire (optional)

Hammer First Nail Into Wall

Determine where basket will be hung. With a pencil, mark where the basket's center point hits the wall. Measure out 2-3 inches from that mark to the left and right and make a light mark at both locations. These marks are roughly where nails will be positioned to hang basket. Tap a nail into mark on the right.

Hang Basket

Hook basket onto both nails to hang (Image 1). Fill with toilet paper rolls, hand towels or any other bathroom necessities (Image 2). If basket may be knocked off easily, secure it to nails with lightweight wire. Tip: If basket will be filled with more than just paper rolls or hand towels, make sure nails are inserted into studs or use screws and drywall anchors.
