DIY All-Natural Citrus Furniture Polish
Make your wood furniture looking new again with this easy homemade cleaner.

If you have wood surfaces that have seen better days, spruce them up with this all-natural, homemade furniture polish. Made with beeswax, natural oils and fortified with the cleaning power of citrus, this wood refresher will leave surfaces looking (and smelling) good as new — no harsh chemicals required.

What You'll Need
- 1.5 tbs beeswax
- 2 tbs castor oil
- 4 tbs olive oil
- 20 drops any citrus essential oil
- 4 oz tin or jar
- bamboo skewer
Make a Base

Combine the olive oil, castor oil and beeswax in a small microwaveable bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring with a bamboo skewer in between until fully melted.
Add Scent

Add 20 drops of your favorite citrus essential oil. Stir with the skewer.
Store It

Pour the mixture into a four-ounce tin and let cool. It will firm up when it reaches room temperature.
Refresh Your Furniture

To use, dip a lint-free rag into the polish and apply to your wood surfaces. Massage the polish into the wood and wipe off any excess. Store at room temperature. Pro tip: Spot test in an inconspicuous area before using.
