HGTV's famous siblings Jonathan and Drew Scott have helped scores of clients buy and renovate properties in their Emmy-nominated series Property Brothers. Now, in a new take on the accessible brand of real-estate and design expertise that has made them household names, they're on a mission to turn families’ ordinary houses into lifelong dream homes. It's all happening in the new series Property Brothers: Forever Home, set to premiere in HGTV this May.

This latest title in the power twins’ HGTV arsenal of shows focuses on couples who are settled in their home but need some help and expertise to make it perfect. Enter the Brothers who provide the guidance, vision and wherewithal to execute the perfect custom makeover.

Unlike the Property Brothers' earlier series like Buying and Selling and Brother Vs. Brother, the focus here is not on resale – or potential resale – for profit. These aren't clients looking to flip their property. Rather, they regard their home as “the one” where they can put down roots and happily spend their lives. To unlock the home’s full potential, Jonathan and Drew will focus on overhauling the house to suit the families’ specific needs and wishes.

We will turn these families’ dreams into a reality.
Drew Scott

In each episode, Drew takes the couple on a tour of nearby renovated homes to learn about the features they love and aspire to — and which ones they can live without. Armed with this information, and with the homeowner’s budget in mind, Jonathan will bring the family’s design dreams to life using state-of-the-art 3D graphics. He will present the homeowners with two animated options that showcase different ways their house can be reimagined. The stakes are high for everyone — for the couples, who must decide how their ideal home should look, and for Jonathan and Drew, who must deliver renovations that surpass the clients’ expectations.

"When a family buys a house, they know when it’s the right one — the fixer upper where they can spend all their time and grow old together,” says Drew. “But, before they know it, years go by and the house hasn’t changed.”

“Renovations cost more than they imagine, so their ‘diamond in the rough’ stays rough for years," adds Jonathan. "That’s why we’re here—to help families unlock the dreams in their uninspiring houses.”

Property Brothers: Forever Home is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, with Jonathan and Drew as executive producers. Property Brothers: Forever Home will premiere Wednesday, May 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
