See Your Space in a New Light

Never underestimate Hilary’s ability to rethink a space. Formerly, this living room had an outdated fireplace and was completely closed off from the adjacent kitchen. Once Hilary got her hands on the blueprints, she transformed the entire back of the home into an open-concept floor plan, anchored by an incredible dining room. With cushy banquet seating and an extra-long table, this family of five now has an everyday gathering spot, as well as a space to host 20 of their nearest and dearest.

Find Function in the Unused

Remember that time Hilary totally transformed this underused room? We sure do. From the built-in desk to the ultra-cozy window seat, this room now serves double duty as a workstation and hangout. In addition to amping up the style of the space with chevron-laid flooring, industrial-inspired accents and eye-catching patterns, she also maximized storage with open shelving and cabinetry to keep the mess hidden away.

Create an Anchor of Style

Before Hilary stepped into this home, the husband-and-wife homeowners were diametrically opposed to their home’s future. He hated everything about it and was ready to move on, while she could see the potential of a Hilary renovation. And oh, what a remodel! For the underutilized front room, Hilary created a peaceful library to function as the wife’s workspace, as well as a quiet reading or studying spot. Gorgeous dark-blue built-ins anchor the room around a cozy sofa, while providing always-needed storage.
