White + Wood Accents
In this kitchen from Help! I Wrecked My House, designer Jasmine Roth used a breezy color palette, then layered in moody touches. Bright white cabinets with bronze hardware are balanced out by mossy-green tile and leather barstools. Reeded white oak paneling on the range hood draws the eye up and ties into the peninsula.

Natural Light + Marble
Sunlight spills into this airy space through a ceiling of arched windows and bounces off bronze sink hardware and cool-toned vintage accessories. Swathed in stunning Calacatta Turquoise Antico marble, the kitchen is where you'll likely find Jeremiah Brent (The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project) basking in the ceremony of cooking. “The smells that come from this room ... because of [Jeremiah], are incredible,” says Jeremiah's husband and co-host Nate Berkus.

Sunny Cottage Charmer
In keeping with the home's original 1885 farmhouse style, designer Sarah Richardson chose new kitchen elements — like cabinets and energy-efficient appliances — that would blend well with period touches like the rustic tin pendants over the island. For added charm, she also hit salvage stores to find items like the turned newel post used to support one corner of the breakfast bar.

Fun Focal Point
Known for their colorful ranges, Dave and Jenny Marrs' 60-inch, bluish-gray Italian range is no surprise here. It's the focal point of the Season 3 Rock the Block kitchen. Even better: The hood vent is recessed, allowing the handmade backsplash tiles to shine. Dave and Jenny nixed the awkward corner cabinet, opting instead for functional (and attractive) light gray cabinets. Silestone countertops add durability to the high-traffic family-friendly kitchen.

Dazzling Metallics
To honor her clients' heritage and passion for Indian cooking, Revealed host Veronica Valencia crafted a built-in spice rack that flanks the dazzling range hood. The shelves create easy access while cooking and are a way to display the rich color of the spices.

Sweet Cottage Charm
A floral motif backsplash and dreamy blue and white cabinets come together to create this perfect countryside cottage kitchen filled with Southern charm. Erin Napier from HGTV's Home Town explains, “If you live in Laurel, you’ve probably met our homeowner Shug or know Sarah’s family, who has been here outside of Laurel for many generations. And if you’re not from here, watch for a masterclass in Southernisms, laugh until you cry and fall in love with this gorgeous house that used to be her grandmother’s.”

A Warm White
Veronica Valencia replaced the original small-scale, black-and-white checkered floors in this kitchen with larger limestone tiles to bring in timeless character. Creamy cabinets are balanced by a walnut-stained wood island. Countertops in Calacatta rochelle marble are “beautiful but also functional, as they really embrace the history of this home,” Veronica says. Veronica also created a special heirloom project for this homeowner: two custom cookbooks brimming with family recipes, stories and history.

Vintage Meets Modern
A white kitchen doesn't have to be all white. Here, designer Andrea Schumacher swapped upper cabinets for just two small floating shelves so the fanciful floral wallpaper is the star. For contrast, she chose an emerald green tone from the wallpaper to paint the kitchen's island.

Eye-Catching Tile

Soft blue and creamy white patterned tiles create a stunning focal point in this carefully crafted kitchen. Taken all the way up to the ceiling, these tiles are able to make an even bigger impact on the design of the room.

Rustic + Contemporary
Kristina Crestin, from HGTV's Farmhouse Fixer, designed this farmhouse kitchen with function and style in mind. Stunning Stonework
For their winning Rock the Block Season 3 house, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson went big in the kitchen. A massive range hood extends to the ceiling and has a charming shape. Whitewashed cobblestone backsplash is a nod to the weathered streets of historic Charleston, South Carolina, where the home is located. They let it shine with simple wood open shelves and creamy cabinetry.

Ground it With Blue
To break up the banks of white cabinetry in the HGTV Dream Home 2021 kitchen, designer Brian Patrick Flynn selected Annapolis Blue kitchen cabinets. Switching up the cabinet colors gives even the most traditional kitchen a more contemporary look. If painting all the base cabinets feels overwhelming, start with just the island; you can always paint the remaining cabinets later, if you like the look.
