Married design team Kele Dobrinski and Christina Valencia aren't afraid of a little disagreement. In fact, on their new series, Mash-Up Our Home, they're diving right into decorating clashes between couples. They'll combine the couple's differing design styles to create a "mash-up design" dream home both parties will love.

With the premiere on the horizon — Saturday, March 12 — we figured it was time to get to know Kele and Christina a little better.

They're the Founders of Colossus Mfg.

After 10-year stints in PR and advertising, Kele and Christina used their knowledge and experience to create Colossus Mfg., a design studio focused on hospitality and residential design. Fun fact: They named it after the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Thought to be 105 feet tall, it was an incredible feat that took 12 years to build and was the inspiration for the Statue of Liberty. Kele and Christina use the Colossus as their north star, working to create a brand, design and partnerships that have a lasting impact.

Their Design Journey Started With Tile

Two blue tiles, to be exact. Kele and Christina were inspired by the pattern they saw on a found 1970s ski glove. They channeled their inspiration and created a duotone stripe tile motif in their Van Norden Lodge project. And people fell in love — with the tile and with Kele and Christina's design style.

Working Hard Is How They Succeed

"Worst career advice I've ever recieved," they wrote on a recent Instagram post. "Find an easy job." After a year of working harder than ever, they have more than a TV series to show for it. (Although that's pretty impressive.) They helped 16 couples create their dream homes, continued to run a successful business with multiple home remodels and kept up with their three kiddos.

You Can Stay in Their Super-Cool Homes

Yep, they have two Airbnb properties: one in Soda Springs, California, and one in Scottsdale, Arizona. Whether you're looking for a glam desert abode or a quaint lakeside home, the resort-like getaways are designed in their quintessential style. And yes, they both have amazing reviews.

They Love Their Boys

They're raising three boys in Sacramento's Land Park neighborhood. Free time is spent hiking, hanging out in the pool and making their way down snowy mountains on skis and snowboards.

You Can See Them at Work on HGTV

Kele and Christina's new show, Mash-Up Our Home, premieres on March 12. Catch them on Saturday nights at 8/7c on HGTV, or stream episodes same day on HGTV GO. Check HGTV.com for show updates, and interact on social media using #MashUpOurHome and @HGTV on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram. Connect with Kele and Christina on Instagram at @colossusmfg.
