No matter the age, it’s time for some birthday fun. Our birthday scavenger hunt will send participants on a fun, interactive journey through the house to gather nine clues and a few hidden treats along the way. Follow these steps for setup and let the fun begin. First, download and print the scavenger hunt page and cut the clues out along the lines. Gather up a few small gifts to hide with some of the clues, as well as a bigger gift for the end.

To set up the scavenger hunt, hide each of the clues in the location hinted at in the previous clue. For example, the first clue — which you hand to the participant sends them to your crafting space, the second clue sends them to the refrigerator, and so on. Some clue locations may be open to your interpretation, so make it as hard or easy as you’d like. If you want to hide a small gift with a few of the clues, consider choosing items that fit with the locations perhaps a new book with the bookcase clue or their favorite snack in the refrigerator. It's a perfect way to thoughtfully personalize the hunt.

Once the clues and gifts are all hidden, the scavenger hunt is ready to start. Hand the birthday detective their first clue and away they go.
