Ingredients
- soup of your choice
- 1 pie crust dough
- flour for rolling
Instructions
Roll pie crust dough to 1/8" thick on a lightly floured surface. Use flour as needed on the surface and the rolling pin to prevent sticking. Use a small cookie cutter to cut as many shapes as possible from the sheet of dough. TIP: to prevent sticking, dip the cookie cutter occasionally in flour and shake off excess.
Place the shapes on parchment lined baking sheets at least 1/2" apart. Cover with cling film and refrigerate at least 1 hour before baking.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the shapes for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Need more flavor? Finely chop fresh herbs that compliment your dish. Just before the sheet of dough is the right thickness, sprinkle the herbs over the dough and roll them into the dough to the right thickness.
