Cristy Lee is hitting pause on fixing cars, trucks and bikes in favor of fixing homes. We know her best as a motorcyclist and automotive engineer — as well as a powerful female force in the automotive industry — but now we’re welcoming her into the HGTV family. Cristy’s new show Steal This House will premiere on July 9 at 9/8c.

The six-episode, Detroit-based home renovation series will follow Cristy as she takes prospective homeowners — who’ve seen everything in their price range after weeks, months or even years of house hunting — on a search for the perfect (read: disastrous) fixer-upper. Then she’ll prove to her clients buying a lower-priced house that needs work can be worth the risk, as long as you stick to a budget and trust the process. Unlike other real estate agents who avoid showing clients homes in devastating condition, Cristy’s not afraid to take chances. Lucky for us, season 1 of Steal This House features all her edge-of-your-seat reno decisions.

"Steal This House will show a different approach to home buying that promises to re-energize buyers who are stalled in their search process due to limited inventory,” says Jane Latman, president, HGTV & Streaming Home Content, Discovery, Inc. “Buying a less than perfect property and turning it into a dream home can be a nail-biter, but Cristy will show us that when it works, it’s like winning the lottery.”

And, of course, we can’t wait to see all of Cristy’s designs come to life. Known for fixing cars, trucks and bikes, she'll apply her unique talents to personalize clients’ homes with custom amenities — including custom metal work for fireplace surrounds and kitchen hoods, and a one-of-a-kind 3D map made from repurposed wood.

Season 1 of Steal This House premieres on HGTV July 9 at 9/8c. Keep up with the show on and follow @HGTV and #StealThisHouse on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. Fans also can connect with Cristy on Instagram at @cristylee09. The new episodes of Steal This House will be available the same day and time on HGTV GO: Saturdays beginning July 9 at 9/8c.
