Designer Sarah Sherman Samuel Launched a New Collection at Lulu & Georgia and We're Obsessed

In the last few years, I've had a huge style crush on interior and textile designer Sarah Sherman Samuel and all of her projects, from Mandy Moore's midcentury remodel to SSS's cabinet door line for IKEA cabinets at Semihandmade. Needless to say, her new desert-inspired rug and pillow collection at Lulu & Georgia did not disappoint.

Inspired by Sherman Samuel's love of Moroccan rugs and kilim flatweaves, the collection includes rugs and pillows in six different styles and warm, neutral earth tones like the rust-colored Arches design to the black-and-white Moroccan Flatweave graphic pattern. "My style is relaxed but edited, modern but warm and this collection reflects that,” Sherman Samuel describes.

With five size options for all of the rugs and two for the pillows, the designs are neutral enough to fit almost any space. Several designers and Instagrammers who've already styled some of the pieces are giving us some serious design inspo.

Molly Madfis, the creator of Almost Makes Perfect, styled the black-and-white Moroccan Flatweave rug in her bedroom, and it looks like a minimalist, Southwestern dream.

Jennifer Harrison of Flea Market Fab showcases the rust Arches rug in a more maximalist space. Layering mustard, rose and maroon throw pillows on a striped sofa, Harrison contrasted the warm colors with wall art and an accent table in bold cobalt blue.

Even Leanne Ford from HGTV's Restored by the Fords praised the natural-colored Arches rug on her own Instagram, saying it's her "new seriously favorite rug of all time."

Maybe we'll be seeing some of the SSS x Lulu & Georgia collection on future Restored by the Fords episodes?! We sure hope so.
