Last year, we saw deals on major home appliances like Dyson vacuums, Instant Pot pressure cookers, SodaStream machines, furniture, rugs, electronics and so much more.
Do you need to be a Prime member to shop the sale?
How can you support small businesses during Prime Day?
There will be a big emphasis on small businesses this year. The mega sale typically takes place in July but was postponed this year due to the pandemic. With the sale happening in the fourth quarter close to the holidays for the first time, there will be tons of deals on giftable items, including from small businesses and Amazon Handmade shops. Amazon is investing more than $100 million throughout the holiday season on new promotional activities to help small businesses around the world and enabling hundreds of thousands of smaller companies to sustain and even grow their sales despite the COVID-19 crisis.
One special promotion we're excited about is a spend-now-save-later deal around shopping from small businesses. When Prime members spend $10 or more on small businesses on Amazon between now and Oct. 12, they'll receive a $10 credit to spend during Prime Day! Learn more at amazon.com/supportsmall.
