Step 1
Using Template A, cut a stocking front and back out of white duck canvas. Following the online instructions, sew the pieces together. 

Step 2
Adhere different-size letter stickers to the front. Use a pouncer to paint the fabric, covering the stickers. Unpeel the stickers while the paint is still wet (you can use tweezers to lift the corners). Let dry.

Step 3
Use a pouncer to paint the back. Let dry. Stitch a ribbon loop inside the top right corner.

Step 1
Using Template A, cut a stocking front and back out of large white Tyvek mailing envelopes (available at office supply stores). Following the online instructions, sew the pieces together.

Step 2
Use a pouncer to coat wood block stamps with crafts paint, then stamp them onto the front of the stocking. Let dry.

Step 3
Stitch a ribbon loop inside the top right corner.

Laminate an old blueprint or blueprint reproduction with iron-on vinyl, following the package instructions.

Step 2
Using Template B, cut the blueprint into a stocking front and back. 

Step 3
Following the online instructions, sew the pieces together. Stitch a ribbon loop inside the top right corner.

Attach rows of felt garland to the front with fabric glue, trimming any excess.

Step 3
Following the online instructions, sew the pieces together. Stitch a ribbon loop inside the top right corner.

Step 1
Using Template B, cut a stocking front and back out of faux suede. Following the online instructions, sew the pieces together.

Step 2
Cut a section from a real tool belt (a kid-size one works well). Hot-glue it to the front of the stocking to make pockets.

Step 3
Make a loop out of the leftover faux suede; stitch it inside the top right corner.
