How to Make a Summer-Ready Tropical Wreath
Bring all the highlights of a tropical getaway to your front porch with this sun-sational, beachy door decor. This paradise-inspired wreath is also great as tiki party or summer wedding decor.

Materials Needed
- faux palm fronds, fern and monstera leaves
- faux tropical flowers, like orchids and pincushion protea
- 15” styrofoam wreath form
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- wire cutters
Prep Foliage
Prep the greenery by snipping the foliage off each bundle and placing them into ready-to-grab piles. For this project, faux monstera, palm leaves and fern are used.

Create Pattern
Start by creating a pattern to follow throughout the project. Place a generous amount of glue on the spine of the leaf to ensure stability then attach to wreath form (Image 1). Varying leaf types, layer stems for a full look (Image 2). Alternate the position of the foliage from inward to outward, adding the fern in between the larger leaves for added texture and to fill in gaps (Image 3).

Continue Pattern
Continue the pattern around the wreath form until it’s completely covered in foliage.

Add Blooms
When choosing the blooms for your project think tropical and colorful — like multiple varieties of orchids and pincushion protea (Image 1). Cut the stems off the blooms using wire cutters and glue onto the wreath (Image 2). Here, we’ve created two floral pods on the upper right and lower left (Image 3).

Hang the completed wreath on a hook or by looping ribbon around the top. Use this tropical wreath to brighen up indoor or outdoor spaces or as party or wedding decor.
