‘Flip or Flop’ Is Back August 1 with 18 New Episodes
Season 8 of the O.G. ‘Flip or Flop’ premieres Thursday, Aug 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Somehow, it’s already been almost a year since the previous season of Flip or Flop ended. And if you’ve been yearning to get your Flip or Flop fix, we have good news: eighteen new episodes are on their way! Premiering August 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Season 8 follows divorced couple Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa as they find their stride as successful business partners and co-parents. You already know the drill, but each episode features the two real estate and house flipping experts as they buy, renovate and sell Southern California properties for a profit. The new season will also provide a glimpse of Christina and Tarek’s new family dynamic.
“I feel like Tarek and I have started a brand-new chapter,” said Christina. “We may not always agree on kitchen backsplashes or floor plans, but we’re always on the same page when it comes to our kids. We’ve learned to put our differences aside, so we can give Taylor and Brayden the best and happiest life possible.”
Tarek echoed the same sentiment saying, “Christina and I are in a really good place right now. We’ve worked hard to keep our business strong, but our kids will always be our #1 priority. It’s important they know we respect each other and that we only want the best for them.”
In the premiere episode, Christina and Tarek buy a rundown 4-bedroom property with its fair share of problems, including an illegal addition, sloping floor and noisy parkway nearby. But with its pool and location in a desirable neighborhood, the duo decides the house has the potential to be a gorgeous family home. Throughout the season, Christina and Tarek will tackle several uninhabitable houses, including a property left in ruins by the previous owner’s cats — yikes!
Also premiering on August 1 is Tarek’s Flip Side — a new digital series that follows Tarek’s personal life as he works hard, plays hard and enjoys quality time with his kids and family. If you haven’t already, you can watch a sneak peek of it here.
