Make a Pattern

Make a Pom-Pom
Wrap yarn around one of the cardboard patterns until you get a nice fat bundle (Image 1). Cut a second piece of yarn measuring at least 6 inches long (Image 2). Carefully slide the bundle off of the cardboard and place it on the shorter piece of yarn so you can tie the ends tightly around it (Image 3). Cut through all of the loops on the top and bottom (Image 4 + 5). Roll it around in your hands to shape it into a sphere, and trim the ends until you have a finished pom-pom (Image 6 + 7).

Pin Pom-Poms to Foam Wreath Form
Use U-shaped pins (Image 1) and normal sewing pins to pin the pom-poms onto the foam wreath form (Image 2). Make sure they’re placed closely next to each other so the foam doesn’t show through (Image 3). Add pom-poms around the sides of the wreath to get an even and full look (Image 4).
