Materials Needed
- zig zag vinyl safety tape
- paint
- large piece of cardboard
- crafts knife
Step 1
Paint the table black. Let dry.
Step 2
Lay a piece of striped safety tape down the center of the tabletop.
Step 3
Run another piece of tape next to the first piece so the black-and-white stripes don’t line up, creating the start of a zigzag effect. Continue applying tape until the entire top is covered with a chevron design.
Step 4
Flip the table over, setting it on a large piece of cardboard. Run a crafts knife around the table’s circumference to trim the edges of the tape.
