50 Pieces of Art You Can Buy on Etsy
There's a whole world of art on Etsy. Whether you're a casual collector or an art museum curator-in-training, shop unique wall art, sculptures and digital prints from artists all over the globe.
Shopping on Etsy is like shopping all your favorite local art festivals, craft fairs and co-ops combined. The choices are endless, and it won't take long for you to find the perfect piece meant for you, no matter how specific your desires. That's the beauty of Etsy: nothing is too strange for the online retailer and its thousands of sellers. Want two dancing frogs printed onto a vintage French literary journal for your reading nook? You've got it. How about a custom metal sign for your wedding day that you can hang over the mantel for years to come? Or a print inspired by an oil painting of Danny DeVito? It's all on Etsy.
But we all know choice can be overwhelming, so to guide your journey I've picked out some of my favorite artists and shops, categorizing them for easy shopping. No matter your budget or the size of your home, you're bound to find something that speaks to you.
I'm a big fan of Los Angeles graphic designer Heather Perry. Many of her prints and greeting cards are based on original oil paintings (like that Danny DeVito painting we mentioned), but you can also find clothing and knitting designs in her Etsy shop. One of my favorites is this print fit for a guest room or entryway asking everyone's favorite question: "What's the Wi-Fi password?"
Erin Hagerman's shop, Prints and Giggles, offers a midcentury modern take on your favorite movies. Each print comes complete with the cast, famous quotes and even a color palette. To top it off, each print features a quirky, iconic graphic from each movie — if you've seen it, you know it!
Munea Wadud leaves little, but not hidden, messages in her prints, inviting you to take a closer look. She hopes to bring awareness to causes that support underrepresented minorities through her vivid art. We especially love her LGBT+ and plus-size model line drawings, which also double as coloring pages.

Heather first picked up a camera in 2014, when she and her husband (also a photographer) got married in Prague, Czech Republic. World travelers, Photo527 is a unique look into some of their adventures together: the photos are all tied together with a pink and pastel theme. Judy Konopka is a graphic designer based in Middletown, Connecticut. She curates and restores vintage photography, spending hours removing dust and scratches, filling in lost details and adjusting the exposure to make for a beautiful print. We couldn't believe it either, but it's true: this is a watercolor painting by Kseniia Yeromenko. Based in the Ukraine, Kseniia studied fine art and graphic design at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts. She wasn't drawn to graphic design software and missed the experience of creating something with her hands. She found her artistic home working with watercolors, and began creating hyper-realistic paintings of food. It probably won't surprise you that she gets her inspiration from grocery shopping, and loves when people say her work makes them hungry!
Based in San Diego, Josh Fillis creates mixed-media abstract paintings inspired by his natural surroundings. Using a variety of techniques and applications from paint pouring to palette knives, "Shoal" (pictured above) is an acrylic and oil pastel work "inspired by gestural movements and ocean forms."
