Materials Needed
- quick-dry paper clay
- wax paper
- rolling pin
- toothpick
- jump rings
- cookie cutter
- evergreen sprigs
- ribbon
Roll Out Clay
Roll the clay into a tight ball and place on wax paper (Image 1). Place another piece of wax paper on top of the ball and press down until flattened. Use a rolling pin to further flatten the clay to about 1/4" thickness. Remove the top layer of wax paper (Image 2).

Cut-Out Ornament
Using a cookie cutter, press down and cut out the ornament. Peel away the excess clay. You'll need to work quickly, as this clay is fast drying.

Imprint Clay
While the clay is still moist, press an evergreen sprig into it hard enough to leave a distinct impression.

Prep to Hang
Using a toothpick, push a hole through the top of the ornament, leaving enough room to accommodate a jump ring.

Add Jump Ring and Ribbon
Allow the ornament to fully dry for about 2 hours. Once dry, slip the jump ring into the hole (Image 1). Loop a 5" piece of ribbon through the jump ring and tie off to hang the ornament on your tree (Image 2).
