Step 1

Christmas Sweater Tree

Create a sweater template and place it onto a sweater.  You can use a felted wool sweater as pictured here or wool fabric.

Cut out sweater shapes from fabric.

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for stiffening the sweaterfabric.

Allow the sweater fabric to dry and stiffen completely.

Small stickers, decorative trim and cut up craft felt can all be used to adorn the ugly sweater ornaments.

Small hangers can be found at the craft store in the doll or miniature section.  Paper clips can or malleable wire can also be bent into coat hanger shape. Glue hangers to backs of sweaters.
