How to Make Sweater Christmas Tree Decorations

Use scraps of sweaters, Styrofoam cones, toilet paper rolls, sequins and pompoms to make adorable tabletop tree decorations.

  • foam cones
  • green sweater
  • sequins and sequin pins
  • toilet paper rolls
  • craft glue
  • scissors
  • seed beads
  • pompoms

Step 1

Christmas Sweater Tree

Wrap a scrap of sweater around the cone to determine what to size triangle to cut the material. When you have the size right, mark and then cut the fabric.

Step 2

Pin the fabric to the cone using sequin pins.

Step 3

Christmas Sweater Tree

Using a combination of sequins, seed beads and sequin pins to decorate the trees.

Step 4

Christmas Sweater Tree

Glue a toilet paper or wrapping paper tube to the bottom of the tree. Add decorative trim to the base of the tree to hide connection points.
