How To Make Sous Vide Egg Bites in a Slow Cooker

Cook Time: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1.5 oz. cream cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooked bacon
- roasted red pepper
- green onion

Combine the eggs, cheeses and seasonings in a blender and mix until the ingredients are smooth with no lumps.
Pour
Prepare small jars by coating them with non-stick spray. Place toppings like bacon, roasted red pepper and green onion in the bottom, then pour in the egg mixture until each jar is full. Place the lid on top, but save the screw-on rings for later.

Place the rings from the jar lids in the bottom of the slow cooker. Fill it about halfway with water, and raise the temperature to 165 degrees. Place the jars in the cooker making sure the tops are exposed, but the sides are immersed in water. Allow them to cook for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Flip the jars upside down onto a plate to remove the egg bites and serve for an impressive but easy breakfast or brunch treat.
