It's a Fabulous Life
The phrase “relationship goals” might be overused at this point, but after watching two seasons of Fixer to Fabulous, it’s impossible not to apply the label to Dave and Jenny Marrs. With their show offering a glimpse into the beautiful life they’ve built together, we couldn’t help but wonder where it all began. Jenny was kind enough to share how she and Dave met, and give us the details on their wedding, along with some photos from the big day.
“We don't actually have any digital photos from our wedding. Ha — we're old!” Jenny told us via email. Scanned in from the Marrs’ actual wedding album, these photos will make you love the Fixer to Fab couple even more.

Long-Distance Friendship Turns to Love
Jenny and Dave met after college while working for the same company. Despite living in separate states, the two became good friends through letters and long phone conversations. After several years of building a solid foundation of friendship, they dated for about a year before getting engaged … in Paris!

Eiffel Tower Engagement
On their third night in Paris, Dave and Jenny made their way to the Eiffel Tower. “As we stood there, looking up at the glow of the lights against the clear, dark sky, Dave turned to me and said ‘marry me’ in a voice mocking a popular commercial at the time. I laughed and said, ‘but of course!’ to which he replied, ‘no, I’m serious,’" Jenny recounted.
“In what can only be described as an out-of-body experience, I watched as he fell to one knee and held up a small box containing my engagement ring. I screamed and grabbed him by the neck, partially choking him while crying.” Champagne was soon to follow.
The Wedding
On April 2, 2005, Dave and Jenny tied the knot at the Mission Inn in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida — Jenny's home state!
The Beautiful Bride
Stunning then and stunning now! Jenny wore a strapless wedding dress with the perfect amount of sparkle. Her bouquet was made up of one of her favorite flowers: roses.
A Big Crowd for the Big Day
On their wedding day, Dave and Jenny were surrounded by 250 family members and friends who each contributed to their wedding quilt. “Each guest sent in a decorated quilt square with their RSVP. Dave’s grandma made a quilt out of the squares that we still cherish to this day,” said Jenny.
Best Girls
A large wedding calls for a large wedding party! Jenny had eight bridesmaids: her two sisters, four childhood friends and two college roommates. The bridesmaids wore pink and carried bouquets made of hydrangeas — Jenny’s other favorite flower.
Wedding Day Highlights
As far as Jenny’s favorite wedding day memory, the dance floor was a standout. “Dave and I both have the best memories of everyone dancing and laughing and having fun together," she told us.
Another favorite wedding day detail? Not only did Jenny’s dad make her four-tier wedding cake, but he also made mini wedding cakes for each guest. Perks of the family business!
Dancing With the Marrs
In an exclusive clip we shared in November, Jenny revealed that she and Dave took dance lessons prior to their wedding. Apparently, Dave didn’t perfect how to dip his dance partner in time for the big day!
For their first dance, the newlyweds chose “Amazed” by Lonestar — a ’99 classic.
The Perfect Celebration
Looking back, Jenny remembers how special their wedding day was. “It was the culmination of months and months of planning and every aspect of the day was absolute magic,” she said. “It was the perfect celebration and we are so grateful to have been surrounded by those we love the most as we began our life together.”
