Boho-Chic Girl's Room Takes Cues From Arizona Desert

With the beauty of the desert just outside her home in Chandler, Ariz., designer Jo Gick found easy inspiration for her daughter's new big girl room. The space features watercolor cactuses, a swing chair and layers of soft texture for a look that's both chic and comfortable.

For a truly bohemian look, the designers layered the space with faux-fur pillows, cotton linens and an area rug. Not only do these accents keep the room soft, but they can also be switched out as the child grows older.

Gilded Gallery Wall

Matching gold frames add a touch of sparkle to the walls, as well as create cohesion among the artwork. With wire diamonds and unicorn accents in between, the display is equal parts chic and sweet.
