Rustic Cabin on Lake Lure
This rustic cabin on Lake Lure in North Carolina began as a weekend retreat but was remodeled to be a full-time home, primarily through updates to the kitchen and outdoor spaces. One notable update was the screened-in family-room-style porch, which features a large rustic stone fireplace as well as sweeping views of Lake Lure. The kitchen was given a long row of windows and now features green cabinets with ample storage as well as granite countertops for abundant workspace.
