DIY Traditional Holiday Mantel Garland
Sophisticated, muted charm meets holiday sparkle in this velvety, jewel-toned garland.
We started with basic garland then added deep green pine picks, shimmering gold leaves and berries to create this classic holiday look. Flocked velvet ornaments in rich jewel tones and creamy whites are nestled among the greenery for a luxe feel. We made this garland for a fireplace mantel, but it can also be used to decorate a staircase, windowsill or doorframe.

4. Tuck in Ornaments
Begin incorporating the smaller ornaments, nestling them within the garland. Use the ornament wires to secure them. Disperse the larger ornaments throughout the garland for balance. Finally, complete your mantel masterpiece with tall, elegant trees or other festive accents that fit your holiday style.
