Spiked Gingerbread Latte Recipe
The holidays can be hectic, so treat yourself to this cozy beverage with an adult twist. Served after dinner, this gingerbread latte smells fantastic and tastes even better.

Ingredients
- 8 cups fresh brewed coffee
- 6 cups milk of your choice
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- brandy, to taste
- whipped cream, for garnish
- 8 cinnamon sticks, for garnish
- extra cinnamon, for garnish

Combine Coffee and Spices
Start by brewing 8 cups of coffee, then remove the carafe and add the spices (Image 1). Add the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla extract (Image 2), and stir until blended (Image 3).

Froth Milk
If you have a milk frother, use that (Image 1), otherwise warm 6 cups of milk in a saucepan over medium heat. The milk should be very hot but not boiling. Then, use a motorized whisk to beat the milk until it doubles in volume (Image 2).

Pour Into Cups
Add about 1/4 teaspoon of maple syrup into the bottom of each cup (Image 1), then top off with about a 1/2 cup of the warm, spiced coffee mixture from the carafe (Image 2). Spoon the foamed milk on top to fill each cup about an inch below the rim (Image 3).

Add Liquor
If you want to give this latte a little kick, add a splash of brandy.

Garnish and Sip
Finally, add a dollop of whipped cream (Image 1) and a sprinkle of cinnamon to the top (Image 2). For a little extra holiday flair, add a couple of cinnamon sticks, too (Image 3).
