Frozen Margie-Cadorita Cocktail Recipe
Guacamole and tortilla chips are the perfect amigos for margaritas, and this version includes guacamole's essential element. Serves one.
A frozen Margie-Cadorita, different and fun take on a margarita, goes perfectly with guacamole and tortilla chips. Add lime and avocado garnish to highlight essential ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 oz. top shelf silver tequila
- 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup diced avocado
- 1 oz. half-and-half
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Avocado slice for garnish (optional)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup of crushed ice
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients except the lime wedge and avocado slice garnish in a blender. Add ice and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a chilled margarita glass. Garnish with lime wedge and avocado slice.
