How to Install the Bed Slats
Start by locating the studs in the area where you want to install your bed slats. Try to find and mark at least three studs and put marks down the wall in two places to properly secure your slats. You'll ultimately want at least four screws driven into the studs, two at the top and two at the bottom as evenly spaced as possible.

Transfer Your Marks to the Slats
Next, you'll need to transfer your marks on the wall to the front of your slats. Get your marks centered in each of the slats so that you'll have ample room to drive screws without the risk of any splitting.

Drill Pilot Holes
Take your bed slats to your workbench and drill small pilot holes where you've made your marks. Pilot holes are crucial to avoid splitting the wood so don't skip this step.

A pair of embroidery hoops nested together and a pillowcase make a great hamper that's easy to hang and keep tidy. Pull the pillowcase through the inner embroidery hoop and then use the outer one to cinch the pillowcase on tightly. A simple S-hook makes hanging it up a breeze.

The wall slats are perfect for hanging things that need to dry in between use. Bath sponges and loofas last longer by being able to dry out between uses. Just make sure to squeeze them out really well before hanging them so they don't drip on the floor.

You can even add a few small shelves for things that you might reach for when you're in the shower.
