Located right on the Cumberland Harbor in quaint St. Marys, Georgia, this Victorian inspired home is complete with a cupola, a tower with a widows walk, and grand, airy, wraparound porches for enjoying all of the spectacular views. These unforgettable views of marsh, water and sky influence the architecture of the home, which was built with innovations designed for luxury and practicality for a leisurely, carefree lifestyle.
Traditional and southern, this 3,500 square foot home includes 11 rooms plus amazing outdoor living areas such as a long, covered front porch with a graceful staircase, a back deck for large scale entertaining, and a screened-in veranda with a fireplace. Also incredible in its own right is the dock house, complete with boat lift, screened-in living room and a boardwalk that stretches 230 feet over the marsh connecting it to the main house.
The interior is rich with vintage Victorian details such as the beautiful tin ceiling in the kitchen, extensive use of wood and vaulted ceiling with high dormers in the great room. The great green color and textures of the marsh are echoed in home accessories, which brings the outdoors inside and makes this HGTV Dream Home truly breathtaking both inside and out.
