Amazon Has a Secret Online Outlet and the Deals Are Good

Savvy shoppers know that Amazon Prime members often see better prices than non-members, but did you know that there's another way to save big while browsing Amazon? There's a website within a website just for clearance buys with discounted electronics, homewares, appliances and more up to 80% off. Amazon Outlet is kind of like the front dollar section of Target mixed with that random clearance aisle in the back of TJMaxx peppered with a little bit of Best Buy Black Friday sales. And don't get the "outlet" part confused with Amazon Second Chance. These products are brand-new, have never been opened and are massively discounted. It's a good rule of thumb to check this page first before doing a general search, as you might find exactly what you're looking for already on sale. We've poured through the outlet's dozens of categories and highlighted the best sales. There's a little bit of everything here. So, take a peek at our top picks and treat yourself to some seriously sweet deals.

DEALS UNDER $10

Amazon Outlet has an entire section just for items on sale under $10. And there are some really good finds in here, from the perfect can opener to a crafty embossing puncher.

HOME DEALS

We had to refresh our browsers to believe some of the deals we were seeing on home decor. Some of these discounts are better than anything we've seen at overstock websites or even Black Friday sales. A new diffuser for almost half off? Yes, please!

KITCHEN DEALS

Whether you need to stock up on cooking essentials or you're shopping for countertop appliances, the kitchen section of Amazon Outlet is packed with savings. We spotted this extra large roasting pan for more than 30% off! It's perfect for meal prep Sundays.

ELECTRONICS DEALS

Unlike Amazon's Daily Deals, Amazon Outlet doesn't have a lot of big-ticket items such as TVs. But it does have great savings on smaller gadgets and appliances such as fans, headphones, portable chargers and other smart finds.

PATIO + GARDEN DEALS

The lawn and garden section of Amazon Outlet is full of discounts right now, from plant stands to gardening tools. Plus, get a head start on summer entertaining with new fly traps or pool cleaner for a discount!

TOOLS + HOME IMPROVEMENT DEALS

The Amazon Outlet website describes the virtual storefront as "overstock items at under-budget prices" and that couldn't be more true than in the home improvement section. There are so many smart savings here, from name-brand power tools to handy must-haves under $10.
