How to Make Rainbow Cake Bunting
Keep it sweet and simple with this stylish paper bunting that's perfect for your St. Patrick's Day celebration.
- card stock in colors of the rainbow
- scissors
- double-sided tape
- 2 decorative straws or lollipop sticks
- twine or ribbon
Measure and Cut Pennants
Cut two 3/4x1-1/4" rectangles out of each color, and trim a small triangle shape out of the bottom of each.
Attach Twine
Lay a long piece of twine or ribbon on your work surface, and sandwich the twine between each pair of pennant pieces using double-sided tape.
Attach Bunting Posts
Add a piece of double-sided tape near the top of both straws, and wrap the ends of the twine around each. Insert the straws into the cake, angling the straws outward.
