Easily Craft This DIY Storage Solution for Baking Sheets
One of the most problematic kitchen essentials to store is the humble sheet pan. Because of its flat shape it’s often relegated to the bottom of the cupboard with other things stacked on top. Retrieving them for use can often be a noisy, clanging affair. The solution to this problem is extremely simple and inexpensive. You’ll need just a couple of items to easier navigate your baking pan arsenal.

Materials Needed
- measuring tape
- damp cloth
- tension rods (your cabinet's height will determine what length you need)
Measure Opening
Take a vertical measurement of your cabinet space. This will give you an idea of what size tension rods you’ll need. Our cabinet space is 12" so we’ve used a rod that is 10-1/2" that extends to 14". You’ll need at least 6 tension rods for a 12x12 inch cabinet.

Wipe Clean
Unpackage the rods and wipe the rubber ends with a damp cloth. This will remove debris and help the extended rods stay in place.

Space Rods Evenly
Space the rods about 3-inches from the cabinet edges, and from each other. Place the rods in the cabinet and twist them with your fingers to extend them until they tighten and stay in place.

Check Alignment
Place three tension rods toward the back of the cabinet and three in front. Line the front rods up with the back evenly so they will both support the weight of the pans.

Add Your Baking Sheets
Slide sheet pans, muffin tins and similar-sized pans between the tension rods, and enjoy having them organized and easy to grab whenever the baking bug bites.
