Millennial Pink: The Color That Keeps on Trending

The dusty shade of pink known as Millennial Pink has proven to be an enduring new classic. Pantone debuted Rose Quartz as its color of the year in 2016 and we're seeing more and more shades of pink working their way into home decor. It's a color you can have fun with and try at your own pace. Designers are painting ceilings in a glowy pink to add elegance to a room but you could also just incorporate some pink throw pillows or curtains to dip a toe into the trend.

While a soft Millennial Pink and robin's egg blue might read too Easter, a hot shade of turquoise paired with a hotter shade of pink can make a real statement.

Not simply princessy and pretty, the new pink has a sense of play, attitude and maybe even irony. In shades of bubblegum or blush, pink works wonders in the domestic sphere.

Pantone debuted a very Millennial Pink, rose quartz in 2016 but has continued to offer a whole spectrum of intriguing blushes (like the shade here), salmons and peonies with each passing year.
