The 2026 Colors of the Year Are Here

We've got all the details about this year's trendiest colors — from soft, soothing shades to rich, luxurious hues and everything in between. Read on to see all the colors of the year we know so far, plus how you can use them to make your home feel refreshed for the year ahead.

First up, an immersive beige from the experts at Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams: Universal Khaki. 2026 marks the first time these two brands are uniting their Color of the Year selections. This utilitarian shade — inspired, in part, by heavy canvas materials and outdoor gear — is not only pulling double duty as both brands' color choice for the year ahead; the mid-tone tan hue is extremely versatile and easy to incorporate around your home. “It’s a timeless, go-anywhere shade that brings a sense of grounded elegance to any space,” shares Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams.
