Mini Bat Pumpkins
Mix a little mischief into your Halloween decorations with these mini bat pumpkins. These not-too-scary creatures are fun to create and will look great grouped together on your mantel, entry table or as a centerpiece.

Materials Needed:
- several small white or orange pumpkins
- black chalkboard paint
- paintbrush
- chalk
- scissors
- thin black craft foam
- sharp knife
Choose Pumpkins
Choose several small pumpkins with rounded, squat shapes.
Create Wings
Use a pencil to draw the shape of a bat wing onto a sheet of thin black craft foam (Image 1). Using scissors, cut out the wing (Image 2). Using the first wing as a template, cut out as many wings as you'll need to attach two to each pumpkin (Image 3).
Paint Pumpkins
Paint the entire surface of each pumpkin with black chalkboard paint and allow to dry.
