Map RugAn educational and functional rug is made by attaching a large map to a piece of linoleum. The map is adhered to the linoleum using spray adhesive. A little duct tape enforces the edges underneath. Several coats of polyurethane are applied to the top to protect the surface.
A no-construction window treatment is made when a roll-down school map is mounted in front of a window. For two windows, cut the map in half and attach each piece to a shade roller.
