These vintage-inspired pendants illuminate the dining table that centers the HGTV Urban Oasis 2020 kitchen. The dome-shaped shade features a metallic finish and adds a decidedly industrial feel to any space.
Most standard kitchen layouts could benefit from a well-placed island. Have you ever heard someone complain about having too much storage or countertop space in her kitchen? We didn't think so. Incorporate this farmhouse-inspired island with distressed oak counter into your kitchen to add prep space, storage and an extra spot to eat.
Gather and break bread around this distressed wood table. To achieve the eclectic look Brian Patrick Flynn created for the kitchen, pair the table with an assortment of vintage-inspired chairs.
The rustic dining table in the kitchen is surrounded by a mix of vintage chairs that establish a collected-over-time sensibility. Even if you don't have time to scour local antique stores, look for well-made reproductions that'll create the same appeal. This bentwood chair is the perfect combination of classic and contemporary styles.
Glass Storage Jars With Clamp Lids
No farmhouse pantry is complete without glass jar storage. Available in four sizes, these practical containers have secure clamp lids to keep your pasta, dried beans and baking essentials safely sealed. Plus, they make everything look completely organized and stylish.
This classic white butter dish is an essential ingredient to any kitchen, but especially a farmhouse-inspired one. From biscuits to dinner rolls, you'll leave this dish out on your countertop or tabletop from morning to evening.
Dress windows in classic Roman shades; they never go out of style. For the HGTV Urban Oasis 2020 kitchen, Flynn selected a soft green to complement the shade of the cabinets and walls. Don't shy away from creating the same monochromatic design in your kitchen, or opt for neutral linen to go with any color scheme.
Open shelving with pegs adds extra storage and keeps your basics within reach. Display artwork and house everyday plates on top, and hang mugs, kitchen towels and cooking utensils underneath.
Look for simple dishes to round out your tabletop. These Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia stoneware plates deliver an unfussy aesthetic. Pair them with their black counterparts for a contrasting duo.
For soups, roasts, breads and casseroles, there's no greater kitchen workhorse than the Dutch oven. The durable enamel finish won't chip, scratch or discolor, and it can even be thrown in the dishwasher (though they do recommend handwashing most of the time).
