To capture the feeling of "beach cottage," interior designer Linda Woodrum focused on casual furnishings, layers of eye-catching textures and a neutral color palette that contributes to the room's relaxed "I'm on vacation" vibe.
"It's all a foundation to support what's outside," says Linda, who admits that views from the great room's glass walls serve as the real star of the show.
