Actress and director Jennie Garth takes on a new avocation, striking out on her own in a big way with a top-to-bottom renovation of a house in Studio City, Calif. Jennie's seen here in her new project home as renovations get started.

Well before things like design and decorating can begin at Jennie's new home, some serious exterior work is called for. A first order of business: the removal of a large juniper tree that partially blocks the entry of the soon-to-be-remodeled home. Jennie is dressed and outfitted for the task and willing to lend a hand.
