"Sometimes I worry plant-based products won't work as much as [ones with] chemical/artificial ingredients, but this product exceeded expectations. Dishwasher pods have come a long way, and this one had three compartments in each little pod: one with the powdered detergent and two with liquids that have rinse aid and degreaser. "This turntable helped my messy seasoning cabinet get some semblance of order. I was able to organize 15 different bottles and jars onto the turntable, with the tallest ones in the middle so they'd be visible. It was easy to see and reach the ones in the back by spinning the turntable and having them slightly elevated off the floor of the cabinet made it all look a lot tidier. "This set took my fridge from a disorganized mess to a consolidated, tidy system! My favorite piece is the egg bin, which has a drawer that slides out so you don't have to take the whole thing out just to grab an egg. Unlike other fridge organizing bins that I've tried, these were not too long for the shelves of my counter-depth fridge. It's great to be able to see everything that's in my fridge and be able to access even stuff that's in the back, simply by pulling a bin out a bit, as you might a dresser drawer." - Jessica Harlan, product tester

"This trash and recycling can has stood the test of time. After a year of daily use, it still works great and makes recycling so convenient, with the removable bin that has a carrying handle. One drawback is having to order the custom trash inserts, which are on the pricey side, but they are thick, with sturdy drawstrings — they'll really spoil you if you're used to using generic grocery store bin liners! I love the hands-free aspect of this can; it's great to be able to use a wave of my hand or even my voice to open the can when my hands are full or dirty!" - Jessica Harlan, product tester

It also has fancy robotic arms that sweep corners to avoid missing spots. The voice commands are pretty slick too. "I thought this Swiffer mop system did a great job of cleaning up floor grime after having work done in my house that left dust everywhere. The wet cloths stayed on the mop well and seemed thicker so I could use them for longer. "The sponges are outstanding at removing soap scum and hard water spots with just one wipe. For deeper gunk, like smaller bits stuck in grout, a small amount of elbow grease reveals a night-and-day difference. For jobs that aren't too big, the Magic Eraser can be wrung out, dried and used multiple times, though bigger jobs do destroy it if you are pushing very hard. "Blueland's toilet bowl cleaner tablets are a solid choice for regular maintenance in eco-conscious households because they keep your toilet and your conscious clean. It works better as a preventative cleaner than, say, a heavy-duty solution for serious buildup or mold without the use of harsh chemicals. The peppermint eucalyptus scent is so gentle you have to put your nose right into the tin to smell it, which is a welcome addition to my cleaning arsenal.
