Modern Farmhouse Renovation Aerial View

This 12-acre property included a small, existing 1960s contemporary house. The owners bought the property after seeing the wide-open views across the open fields and distant hills. Though they wanted a farmhouse, they chose to keep the existing contemporary structure for use as a pool house and built a new traditional house next to it, connecting the two buildings with a 40-foot buried tunnel. The new farmhouse has three bedrooms and two baths on the second floor, plus a large guest suite on the third level.

Simple coat hooks line the paneled wall, while a high shelf provides space for display or additional storage.
