Living Room Elevated With Coordinated Wood Features

Creative and consistent use of natural hardwood is the showstopper in this living room — as it is throughout the home's design scheme. Hardwoods like poplar and oak, in light or unstained finish, make up key elements in this space — including the fireplace mantel and surround, inset book shelves, accent tables and double doors. The focus on natural wood creates a visual continuity with similar features found in the kitchen and other adjacent spaces. They also play well visually with the home's authentic hardwood floors.
